Program Description
State disabilities School provides special education to developmentally disabled children and adults. It serves the individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, mental retardation and multiple other disabilities. They aim to make individuals with such special abilities be more acceptable in the society by training them in basic skills.
These are the most neglected group in society, who are often not enrolled in regular schools because they have different educational needs. Hence, the organization started a special school for these children.
The special education is based on repeated practical exposure using special education techniques, special educational material in special classes by special educators. Students learn self-care, social adaptive behaviour, functional academics and pre- vocational and recreational skills. This prepares the ground for their vocational training in the future to make them independent. This programme includes support to many poor children and adults with special abilities, who are cross-subsidized by beneficiaries who can afford to pay. Please Urgently Donate
